John Patrick was born on Wednesday, May 19th at 1:45 p.m. weighing 6lb 14oz and 21 inches long.

He's happy and healthy and we are thrilled!! It's great to be able to put all our carefully chosen baby stuff to use finally!!

I won't be around much for a while most likely, things are not the same around here anymore. It's taking some getting used to on our part, that's for sure.

Thanks, Debbi!! I'm looking forward to that, too! I'm cherishing every minute of this newborn time, I hear from everyone how fast it flies and I'm feeling it already, it feels like just yesterday that we were at the hospital really, how can that be? I guess because we're so busy suddenly.

Congratulations, Bonnie! He's beautiful! I think once you get into the swing of things, you'll be back here before you know it. You'll find you have questions and so many things you want to share about your new baby. And it does change everything....but in the sweetest, most frustrating, most exhilarating, heart wrenching-ist way possible! Enjoy your new bundle of joy!

PS - Sounds like the kidneys turned out ok? I told you the issue would resolve itself and I've had my fingers crossed for you since you told us about it and I told you our experience with the same thing.
