My name is Karen, all my friends call me KC (and it is much shorter to type!).
I am due 5/16/05 with my first child and I am still a little freaked out about being a Mom. I am getting more and more excited about it as the time approaches though!
I am happy to be here and hoping to get to know some of you and get some advice.

Welcome to the boards! Don't worry...as overwhelming and terrifying as becoming a mom is, it is also the most wonderful thing in the world.
And May is a wonderful time to have a baby! I did!

Welcome KC and congratulations. I feel the same way you do! In the short time I've been on these boards I have learned SO MUCH from these wonderful ladies. I feel so much more prepared! Just don't be afraid to ask questions. Best wishes- Natalie
