When can I start placing my baby in the forward-facing position? He has great head control, and I think he's ready. He's 13 pounds and 24.5" long.

Mariana,
I started Ellen forward facing about the time whe was 12 weeks old. She absolutely hated facing me, but now that she faces outward, she loves to be in the carrier! We clean house, go for walks, etc. If Gabe has great head control, like Ellen, I would go for it!
