cleaning my baby bjorn carrier???

How do I wash the Baby Bjorn carrier? Mine needs a scrub down.

The Baby Bjorn folks say to simply throw it in the machine (warm water, gentle cycle, mild detergent) and then air dry. However, when I did just that, the gingham pattern on my Bjorn bled together and the fabric frayed in a couple of places. I'd recommend hand-washing with Woolight.

I have a black one that faded in the machine. So I would suggest hand washing.

I have city black, and we cold wash on delicate and hang dry with no problems. (Normal detergent)

I use the hand wash setting on my machine to wash my Baby Bjorn. I usually wash it with Dreft in cold water. It's also best to hang dry instead of using the dryer.
