Default RE: Woohoo! Just got my Kozy

Ali-- I just love the fabric. I wish I could supply my own fabric too, but the website says they're not doing custom orders right now :(. Probably because there's so many on the waiting list-- she told me 200 in my order confirmation email!

I just got mine... but it was a custom job. I really like Meadow and Sailor now, but she didn't have those when I ordered. Here's my print and some pics!

ETA: I can't figure out how to add the pic so it's viewed in the thread. Oh well...

    Default Karin...

I'm so excited for you and your husband! Getting ready is just the most fun isn't it? When I looked at your website (cool by the way) it brought back memories of when I was preparing for my son's arrival. I used to look at everything, done so perfectly and all put together, and just not be able to phathom that we'd actually have a baby on that changing table, in that swing/crib/pnp, etc. but he's here and we use it all as will you soon enough. Enjoy the freedoms you have now cause soon it will change to a new kind of wonderful.

Love showing off pics of my kiki-riki and his kozy :) It's also a custom I sent silk in to Kelley for.

Here's me in the Winkler Kozy (discontinued.) My friend is wearing my Hug-a-Bub. (We normally don't wear matching t-shirts - we were coaching at a science olympiad contest that day...)

    Default Actually mine are custom...

I have a silk and a cotton. Haven't taken pictures of the gorgeous silk one yet. It's lined with velvet (black dragon brocade & black velvet) and it is just not velvet weather here in Texas these days! Can't wait for colder weather to break it out. I just about fainted when I got it, it is so pretty.

    Here's the cotton:

Oh and here is one of my friend's Kozys (what's the plural of Kozy? Kozi?):

I am not sure what that print is called.

As everyone says, the Kozy is worth the wait!

    Default Beautfiul Kozys!

I'm so jealous of all of the pretty kozys! Wah! I want a custom one, but Kelly has on her site that she's not doing any right now. None of her current fabric offerings are grabbing me.

The long wait compelled me to make my own. Here is my custom kozy. I think, though, I need to put some padding in for the baby's legs. Anyone else have this issue?

Lampes, what pattern did you use and did you use shoulder padding. Any tips or tricks? I have fabric that I bought online to make my own Kozy since they aren't taking any custom orders right now, plus the wait too!
