Default RE: Looking for a manly baby carrier

Just want to send a big THANK YOU to everyone for your suggestions. I ended up getting a Sutemi from Peppermint.com and used their free shipping code ("FREE50"). I tried it out a bit with dd last night and am so far loving it! All her weight is supported on the waist strap, with no pulling at all on my shoulders or back---didn't feel at all like I was carrying 20 pounds of baby. DH has never shown much interest in any of the slings and pouches we have lying around the house, but he was definitely intrigued by the Sutemi and will be giving it a go this weekend.

I'm thinking this is the last carrier for my collection. :)

Just wanted to share in the Sutemi love! I think the best part is that both my husband (who is 6'4") and I (5'2") can both use it (we got the extra long straps). We've both used it to carry her in the grocery store and she's fallen asleep both times.

We also both have Hotslings for quick outings, but the Sutemi rocks for longer trips.
