Default What carrier are Angela and Mary wearing in the retreat photos?

Are Angela and Mary wearing the same kind of carrier in the retreat photos on Rashmi's thread? Does anyone know what it is?

    Thanks!

Moby! I know Mary has one since she said she has practiced quite a bit with Faye and the Moby until she mastered nursing in it. I bought one but am still Moby challenged. :P

I just asked Rashmi the same question! Angela is wearing a Moby. Okay, so I just asked half the question. At least I'm half useful. I just wandered in here to find the name of the place she got it from. :)

Where can I look to find out more about the Moby (where to get it, what it costs, etc?)?

    Elizabeth -
You got your answer, but I just wanted to chime in and tell you how much I LOVE this thing. Faye is so snuggly in it and falls asleep every time! It is SO comfortable; I wore her through the airports and it was a breeze dealing with everything. So many people in the airports were even asking me about it; especially the people sitting next to me on the plane since they saw how quiet and content it kept her!!

It was great seeing an older baby (amazz's Kami) in it too. I know we're going to get tons of mileage out of it. I even put Lane in it a while a go to test it out when I got it. He weighed about 25 pounds and at that point and it was still extremely comfy. I'm sure I could wear him for a little while if I needed to.

For anyone who's interested, I bought mine at www.cottoncradles.com. Lisa is the owner and she was a doll. Great customer service!!!

I'm happy to answer any questions. :)

It is also possible to make a stretchy wrap for yourself for a reasonable amount of money if you wanted to try one out first. I made a 5 yd wrap/ 20 inches wide out of cotton interlock fabric I found for $1 a yd. So, it probably cost me all of $2 for one, since I have enough fabric for three. Email me if you want some of the leftover material.
Also, did you see that NINO is trying to start a babywearing group in Atlanta? I emailed her and she said she was still gathering interest at this point. So, you may want to email her if you might be interested. I am dying to have a big babywearing demonstration! There are so many different carriers I want to try.
