Default RE: Diff. b/t Moby and Hug-a-Bub? Anyone know?

Okay, I'm sorry--but what are the chances of anyone recreating this picture IRL?

That just cracks me up for some reason. I want a picture of someone here doing a split in yoga on the beach with a baby strapped to her chest. How would you get up from there?? And wouldn't you get sand everywhichplace? I'm itching just looking at this.

Yup, osfa! At my house when I put it on, half of it is covered in Gordon's hair since it is sooooooo long. It hangs down on the floor ince you have to put it on so carefully and by the time I get it on correctly, I am exhausted and can't get her in it. I so wish I could have someone show it to me IRL.

Default RE: My very own MOBY on the way!!

I just placed an order for my very own red Moby! I was among the many people totally sold on it seeing how happy Faye and Kami were all weekend! And although I should be all set getting Jack in based on Mary and Angela's great demos, Mary - I'll be knocking on your door in a few days if I can't figure it out once it arrives!

Now, if only I hadn't spaced out and forgotten my Zolo at the retreat - I could have had Lori and Rashmi do surgery on it like they did with Neve's and I might have another viable option for my always on me babe! Rashmi - please don't be surprised if my zolo mysteriously shows up in an envelope at your house with a plea to rethread the thing!

Default Moby as a summer sling

I did wear this at the bbq but my shirt was kind of thick (partly b/c the forecast kept changing! LOL) and Kami is a really sweaty baby so I did have a big sweat stain after I took her off. But it is so comfortable that if I know that I will wear a thin shirt for me and possibly just a diaper and sunscreen for Kami. :) Ok I'll probably put more than that on her, but it would be very thin clothes and I think we would both be more comfortable.

There a lot of pics of Kami in that sling at the retreat b/c she spent more time in it than out of it I think. She is going through a huge "I want my Mama" phase and my arms and back were killing me before the retreat so I brought the Moby b/c I was getting desperate. I can't believe how much she loves that thing. She starts to laugh and kick when I am getting her in there. I highly recommend it!!

LOL Holly! I remember the first time I rethreaded my Zolo and how it took me forever to get it right. Now, Juliet (jec) owns it so I know it is in better hands than mine. :)

I wish someone would show me how to use my Moby. You'll have to post some tips when you get your red one.

    Default Paging Angela!!! (amazz)

Angela said she used a website with some video. Hopefully she'll see this and post it. Otherwise, I could photocopy the directions that came with mine.

The site that had a video doesn't work anymore x( , but Rashmi sent me these directions and they made the most sense to me out of everything else I looked at: http://www.kari-me.com/Images/manualC.pdf
It has step-by-step instructions with illustrations. I have only done the tummy to tummy and baby faces out positions, but the others look easy enough. I will admit that I am a little too intimidated to try the back carry. I'm afraid I will drop her on her head!!! :)

    Default Thanks Angela!

Thanks for some additional directions. Of course I have the ones that came with the Moby but I still can't seem to get the darn thing on correctly and comfortably.

    I'll practice with Riley tomorrow!
