Default Did wearing your newborn slow your post-partum healing? (may be TMI!)

So, I started slinging LB, who is 9 days old today and close to 10 lbs., this past week for approx. and hour each day and my post-partum blood loss seems to have increased. Does this make sense? Did this happen to you? He's in a Peanut Shell and he really likes it - falls asleep immediately and doesn't wake up! I'd like to keep using it, but should I have waited?

Generally speaking, your bleeding is a good gauge to help you meter your activity level. Maybe you are just doing too much. Try cutting back and see if your bleeding decreases. Of course, if you are concerned you can always put in a call to your midwife.
