Default RE: Why does everyone dislike the baby bjorn so much?

I have no problem bfing in a Bjorn:

just release the shoulder straps to "drop" the baby into possition, and nurse with baby sitting up, when done reposition (?sp) the baby, tighten the straps again and move on :)

Default RE: Why does everyone dislike the baby bjorn so much?

I liked the KKAFP for the first 3 months, then I actually preferred the BB. I am in the minority, I know. I used my NG Ergo to "balance" out my trunk (develop the opposite muscles) and because it is better for baby's hips and spine (I gather from my research, still not positive about this), but even having the Ergo I prefer the BB because Ava likes it so! She loves facing out (not sideways, as she does with the Ergo because she cannot see over my shoulders she hangs too low down my back).

My muscles are very tones because I used it with Ava since she was about 8 lbs... and she is still small at 17 pounds, so it doesn't hurt at all. I can do a 2-hour hike with it if I need to.

    Hope this helps,
    Barbie
