I am bringing my 17 month old daughter (22-23lbs) to an Alaskan cruise in two weeks. I am thinking of getting a baby carrier so that we don't need to use stroller for shore excursions. Do you have any recommendations on which one to buy (<$50)? Thanks!

I would look for a used mei tai over on babywearing swap. My DD is 20 lbs. and I can carry her comfortably in front or on my back (which will be a nice option for you). I have a mei tai baby and it is super comfy! I paid around $50 and it was like new.
