    Default Backpacks: Sherpani vs. Kangakid?

    http://www.rei.com/online/Comparison...r&storeId=8001

Does anyone have either of these 3 backpacks? I can't tell by th epicture if the Sherpani's look/are too much like a hiking backpack? We have a Kelty hiking pack, but it's too big, bulky for daily use.

The only difference I can see according to these specs between the two Sherpanis is 1 lb.

Any input on any of these?

    Thanks!

The link didn't work like you wanted somehow. Which backpacks are you comparing? You might need to provide the links to each of the 3 backpacks.

this one looks pretty comfy and is a good price at the Outlet if you like Lavender!

Here is a link to their main page of carriers

I know I've heard people like the KangaKid... that lighter Sherpani looks nice though... it seems like the Kangakid has more of a backpack thing going on for mom and dad where the Sherpani is more just a kid carrier??? I could be totally wrong though. They weigh in at 4lbs 3 oz and 4lbs 4 oz so not much difference there! Do you have an REI store near you maybe where you could attemt to try these on???
