Lost straps of Baby Bjorn

Hi all,
I am from India, and in India for the moment. Somehow I managed to lose my Baby Bjorn carrier straps. Does someone know if they are available seperately and what is the cost for it.

Another question is if I have to buy the carrier all over again how is the MEI TEI, I keep running across this whenever I do a search for baby carriers at amazon.

All inputs will be a great help.

I know that they sell XL straps separately, but honestly, you can probably get a gently used Bjorn off of eBay for the price of new straps ($35-40 + shipping). Plus, for a 9mo, you don't have a lot of time left with the Bjorn. A Mei Tai is a great option - will last you another year or two! You can read all about them at www.thebabywearer.com
