    Default Question for Ergo Users

Hi I have been using my Ergo for 6 months now and I LOVE it!!!!! I was wondering what everyone uses for a purse when they are wearing their Ergo? Also now that the weather will soon turn bad what do you do for a coat?
    Thanks In Advance!!!

Purse? I don't have a purse when I'm with DS. :) I toss my keys, cell phone, and wallet into the diaper bag. I put the diaper bag on my shoulder when I'm walking between the car and the store, but then I put the diaper bag into the shopping cart (or stroller -- there have been many times when I've been pushing DS and he wants to be held).

I also just use my regular purse. But if I need my diaper bag, I just use any one of my bags-- I don't find it hinders anything.

As for keeping warm, I just wear my jacket and then put on the ERGO if dd is riding on the back. If she's on the front, I just put the jacket over the ERGO.

I like the ERGO front pouch for small bits.

Try the Overland Equipment Donner. I think EMS carries it- also online at www.overlandequpment.com
It worked great for us with the Ergo. It fit a couple diapers and wipes plus snacks, sippy or water bottle and the necessities of wallet etc.

I only wish they made two shoulder backpacks now that we are pretty much done with our Ergo (sob- but 33+ lbs was too much!)

I just put my keys, ID, lipstick and debit card in my pockets. Sometimes I would velcro a Fold N Go changing pad to the carrier and that would hold 1-2 diapers, a baggie with wipes and the above mentioned personal stuff.

I wish I had known about it when my ds was little because it is a nifty idea. I just wore my own winter coat and tried to snuggle baby in it. We didn't live anywhere super cold though.

I love that bag!! Do you know does the blue one match the blue ergo? That would be so perfect!!!!
Thanks for he suggestion, I went to their retailer list and there are two places in town that carry 'em. I'll check them out this weekend.
    Thanks for the suggestion.
