Ergo or Mei Tai? Which to get?
I have a 9 month old who weighs 15lbs so very light for her age, but the bojn is already getting uncomfortable. I am torn between the two. Any recommendations? Pros/cons...

I'd get both!! I love my Ergo. It's so easy and comfortable. I love my Mei Tei too though.

At 9 months, I really loved my MT. It was so versatile. I preferred to carry my DS on my back when I was doing things around the house. With the MT, I could do a high back carry so he could see over my shoulder, and I could see his face. With the Ergo, he was lower on my back. With the MT, you can also roll the body shorter so your DS could have his arms out when he was awake and if you have a large bodied MT, snuggle him in for head support when he is sleeping.
I did like the Ergo when I was out and knew my son was going to be in and out of the carrier. There were no dangling straps to get dirty on the ground like the MT.
As far as aesthetics, I liked the MT with the beautiful fabrics. The Ergo is also much more bulkier than a MT.
You might want to take a look at the bECO carriers http://www.ecobabies.com. It's a buckled carrier similar to the Ergo but with gorgeous fabrics.

Both are great and very comfortable.
Here's my comparison pros/cons
ERGO
Pros: extremely comfortable for long carries due to the supportive waist strap
No dangling straps
Has sleeping hood (some mei tais do, too)
Option to buy front pouch and Backpack, which are very handy
Guys like them and are more likely to use
Cons:
I think MTs are prettier
Bulkier
Less versatile - no high back carry, not recommended for facing out
Sometimes uncomfy for petite people
Mei Tais
Pros:
Beautiful
Compact
Extremely versatile - lots of little ones really like high back carry
Cons:
Dangling straps - this is a big con for me and is the reason I don't use my MTs much.
I don't personally love the look of all the ties. But that's a personal thing.
Another option is the myPouch, which is MT style but with rings so you can prethread the straps for easier on/off. Still can't do high back carry, though!
There are more, but those are the biggies for me.

How easy is it to get the baby in and out of the Ergo or MT? I watched the video on the Ergo website and it looks a little difficult.
Thanks.

On the front, a piece of cake. On the back takes a bit of practice, but then it's pretty easy too.

Well I bought both-the Sachi MT (haven't received it yet) and the Ergo-I'm having trouble getting 9 month old on my back, hope I figure it out soon. Also it's not as comfortbale yet as I though it would be I think I just need to adjust it better.
