    Depends on how you're comfortable - either you can nurse vertically or else you can adjust so baby is horizontal. AFA heat - the Moby is a t-shirt material so it would basically take the place of a layer, which isn't bad during the winter/spring but can get hot in the summer depending on where you are. There is another alternative called the Hug a Bub, which is the same idea but a cooler fabric - but also more $$.

    Not sure if you still need this info (I've been off line for a while). PP gave you good information about nursing (can be done vertically or horizontally, as you and baby prefer - for newborn, you'd probably do horizontal nursing). Wraps only have to be as hot as the material you choose. Moby is t-shirtish but in a thick way, so it's not as cool as say solarveil, but it's not fleece either. I wouldn't say that wraps are necessarily hotter than other carriers - it all depends on the material and how you wrap it. Of course, wearing a little one snuggled with you is always going to have a heat factor.
