Doll pouches?

Anyone buy a doll pouch for the DC? If so, where? I've checked out TBW, Hotslings, EBay, and a few others. Comfy Joey was well reviewed on TBW (and they recently had an awesome clearance, which I missed out on) but they are closed through Septemeber 1, which is too late for me. I am soooo close to buying a HS for DD but I am not loving the fabric choices.

Anyone successfully MAKE one for your DC? I found some cute Vera Bradley-like pink/lime green reversible quilted fabric at Walmart but I am NOT crafty. How difficult would this be? Would quilted be too thick for a pouch? I also have some fleece hanging around that I could use as well. Any suggestions would be soooo appreciated!

Too bad you missed out on the comfy joey sale. I got one for DD and it is so cute!

There are a ton on hyena cart but they are all slings. I didn't see any pouches. Just do a search for doll sling.

To make a pouch is very simple. All you need to do is be able to sew a semi straight seam. :) You wouldn't even need to make a french seam since it's only for dolls. Here is a pattern for adult slings but you can modify it to your DS's size. http://www.ida.net/users/stace/sling.html
