Default not sure where to post- infant travel beds

We will be vacationing with a 2 months old in a very small apartment, and cannot bring a pack and play. I was thinking about getting one of these "travel bassinets" and was wondering if anyone had experience with them (or other suggestions)

travel and trundle bed (cheaper and looks like it folds smaller)

valco soft bassinet cocoon (more $, but also goes in stroller so more versatile?)

    Thanks!!!

Default RE: not sure where to post- infant travel beds

We have traveled with both our kids around that age. We had a foldable bassinet by Fisher Price similar to this http://store.babycenter.com/product/...cer_seats/4434 It fit at the bottom of the suitcase and worked really well since it wasn't actually on a floor and I felt uncomfortable leaving the baby on a table or other raised surface overnight. We also took a stroller that had an enclosed, bassinet type area with our second. This was great since I could keep him right next to the bed and rock him a bit if he needed it. Whatever you end up getting, use it a few times prior so it is "familiar" and bring sheets, blankets, etc. that will help it smell and feel like home.

HTH and GL with your travels!!!
