Default Best Diaper Bag for Daddy

We just purchased this diaper bag from Eddie Bauer for hubby:

Not sure if anyone here has had experience with this bag or not. But I'm wondering if there's something better out there. DH doesn't want a backpack style bag. He prefers a messenger style so it can be used easily while using a the baby carrier. Any suggestions for a bag for day outings? I was looking into LE as well. Thanks!

I have this EB bag and I think it's great for weekend trips to Grandma but I wouldn't carry it everyday. We got this bag as a shower gift and DH uses it a lot.

Also, Timbuk2 bags are really nice but pricier.

Thanks for the feedback. Good point about it being large for everyday.

I'll have to look into the Timbuk2 bags.

There was another post about bags that dads can carry recently. YOu might want to look further down in the forum to see if you can find it. Not all of these are messenger style, but some are. I think men (at least mine) are generally comfortable carrying: Skip Hop, Land's End Little Tripper, Alpha 7 (canvas), Timbuk 2. We also have 2 Eddie Bauer Target bags (small and large) that are navy canvas that he likes. There is also the Land's End Do It All, but that seemed too large for my taste. There are also plenty of backpacks out there that men feel comfortable with.

My husband really likes the Ameribag Tote. It isn't a diaper bag, but is well organized and easy to use messenger style. We both love using it as an everyday bag. We have the red, but it is not a super bright red, just a nice red. :-)http://www.ebags.com/product_detail/...324&PID=578698
