Azalea Kecci Not Available

I just got a call from Stacy at Kecci. I'd ordered the Azalea (which was showing as in-stock), but evidently there is a quality issue with them. Stacy said the azalea bags did not meet their standards and offered me the choice of a different color instead.

I was kind of having second thoughts about the azalea anyway, thinking it might be too bright. So maybe this was a sign that I needed to choose something else anyway. I went with the chartreuse (new style) because I love the pics I have been seeing of it.

But to those of you considering the azalea, you're probably not going to be able to get that color -- at least for now.

OK, so the diaper bag gods must be looking out for me.... LOL!

I *thought* I needed an Azalea Kecci. I had a heart to heart last night with Mariana. By the end of it, I had talked myself out of the Kecci. Getting a red canvas Skip Hop was a real stretch for me -- I'm pretty much an all-black girl most of the time, and definitely NOT a print person.... I was already admiring the denim Skip Hop, which I need like a hole in the head, when along came the Clutterbags site.... Again, patterns, but I've placed my first order as a "gift" for my post-partum doula. I might be hooked on Clutterbags though.

Anyway, my Azalea Kecci just wasn't meant to be! Sigh.

DH and I were headed out the door to my in-laws on Wednesday when I found my azalea Kecci on my doorstep. I didn't notice any obvious quality issues so I grabbed it and brought it along. It's a great bag for $37.

I have noticed since that the piping is light blue, not the chartruse shown on the website.

I'm actually quite pleased with it. I resisted buying anything with an asian brocade up till now because I wasn't wild about them but I love the striking pink and you really can't go wrong for the price. It's got tons of room, interior pockets and I find myself using the elastic outside pockets a lot. We'll see how long I can keep this bag clean. I'm hoping the dark color and the pattern will hide some dirt.

Well, that's odd! I don't know whether to be mad or relieved. On one hand, I'm ticked that they called me and made me change my order but went ahead and filled yours. But on the other hand, seeing the pics, I think it probably is a brighter pink than I'd like and I'm glad I got the chartreuse instead. Maybe someone was looking out for me, too! lol

I ordered on 11/19 and my credit card was charged on 11/22.

I also ordered on 11/18 and Stacy called me on 11/19 for CC info. As of today, I have not heard anything and my cc has not yet been charged. I hope my order went through.
