I just got a sneak peek teaser from Skip Hop! Here is some basic info about their two new designs, the Expo and the Dash! Both are scheduled for release in March. Pricing and color information will be sent to retailers sometime next week. Until then...enjoy!

THE DASH
It is a flap messenger bag. Many, many pockets. Great wide depth. Super cute!

I love these bags! It looks like the expo has a zipper at the top...do the current skip hops have this zipper?

I am really liking the dash, it looks like a more traditional messenger in it's width.

Can't wait to see what other colors they come in, but honestly, I think I already love the red!

I really like the expo. Looks cute, can stand by itself, small. I also like that one of the front pockets is covered.
But one of my favorite things about my Skiphop is that I can carry a cup for me in the mesh side pocket that opens up and can actually fit a large drink. Neither of these bags have it. :(

Totally off topic...

Carol, were you in Gymboree (the store) at N.P. Mall last Friday? I saw someone with a Peg stroller and a pink Skip Hop, and I thought that was your combo....

I was there with my cousin and I had my red Bugaboo with a black Marsupial. :)

Oh, an to answer your question about the bottle pockets...

I think the bottle pockets on the Dash look similar to the new bottle pockets on the Denim Skip Hop Duo, in which I can fit one of the more slender bottles of water, 17 ounce Dasani for example. For larger drinks (i.e. Starbucks), I just put it in one of the front pockets.

I'm not sure what the Expo has on the inside, maybe there's a bottle holder inside?

We'll know ore next week!

These look great esp. the Dash. Okay, I'm sure you don't have any measurements, but I know that someone out there probably has the ability to approximate what the size of the Dash is. So, anyone have a guestimate?
