Default LE backpack OR EB backpack (EB online version) for DH?

    Hi all,

I'm looking for a diaper backpack for DH as a gift. I thought I'd inquire here to see if any of you (or, more particularly, your husbands!) have a preference. He doesn't love even taking the LE Little Tripper when he needs to run out with DS. He has mentioned a few times he'd prefer a backpack. (He also has a Kelty Kids backpack to carry DS in on long walks, etc. -- I don't know what he's thinking about for those times, but that's another issue I guess.)

I want one I can pack with all the bare basic necessities (sippy/bottle, diapers/wipes, Purell, snack, etc.) and still have room for a toy, a change of clothes or whatever else the particular moment calls for.

It doesn't need to be huge.
*It will mostly be for quick trips to the store, the playground, etc. but may also be used on daytrips for us to share.
*We currently have an 18 month old and are expecting another, so I'm looking at something for two babies/toddlers.

    Thanks for any advice here.

We have a LE backpack and its great. I highly recommend it. The straps are particularly comfy.

Hi! We used the LE diaper backpack as well, and it was great! However, since DH usually takes DS out for nike rides, hikes, and playground activities, he has been taking ihs Camelback, which is not a diaper bag, but his is smallish so he can fit snacks, dipes, wipes, a couple odds and ends, sunscreen, and since it is a Camelback, it holds water for both of them, which is great!

What about a Kelty backpack or fanny pack? They attach to the Kelty Kids carrier, which would solve the problem of how to carry both. The opther two diaper bags are pretty huge (at least the LE and from recall the EB also)

(From above link) Description of Kelty Diaper Daypack:
The Kelty Diaper Daypack is a useful piece of kit to have around for that most delightful of parental chores: Diaper change. This little pack unzips into a changing station with an organizer pocket and changing pad. Water bottle holders on the side make the DD more than just a changing station, and adjustable shoulder straps make it easy to forget you're wearing it. Diaper bags needn't be a giant pain anymore with the Diaper Daypack. The Diaper Daypack zips onto all 2005 and newer Kelty kid carriers.
All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.
