Bumble Bags Jessica Messenger - question

I just won a Bumble Bag in a contest and get to choose what I want - I'm going to get the Jessica messenger, but here's my question -

They have new updates to the bag this year (zipper top under the flap, some additional pockets, magnetic closure). How important are these? The prints I really like don't have the updates. Just wondering if the updates make a big difference or if you loved the bag before the updates too.

Congratulations .......... I love my Jessica bag! I have the Blue Latte - w/o the new features. IMO .....

Zipper ~ I would not zip under the flap - the flap is plenty big enough to cover and nothing falls out. I like the messenger style and I wonder if the zipper constricts some of how open it is.

More Pockets ~ I like the organization and there are plenty of pockets but you always could use more pockets.

Magnetic Closure ~ I would like to have the magnetic closure.

So .... if it were me, I would get the print that I liked rather than the extra features - it's a great bag!
