Default FYI--in case anyone is interested in getting a flag flown over the Capitol

I know this is talked about a lot on different adoption board and it's a way that many parents of international adoptive children celebrate their child's homecoming or their first year in this country so I thought I would post it now while I remember (of course you can get a flag flown for any reason doesn't have to be adopted related)

You should be able to go thru your House Rep http://www.house.gov/ or your senator http://www.senate.gov/general/contac...nators_cfm.cfm

many of them have the info on their websites

Look for something that says Constituent Services if you don't see something that says Buying a Flag

Wow - What a great use of that service! When I was an intern on the House side, I used to do a lot of flag-flying for constituents. A certificate comes along with the flag. Then years later, my in-laws had one flown for DS's christening! We now fly it outside our front door.

It's a really easy thing that reps and senators do for lots of people, it's free to you and it's a great idea!
