Sorry to hijack, but I know our agency does homestudies too even if you don't use them for placement. We used them for our homestudy and we're using them for our agency too. We really loved our social worker who did our homestudy. She has two adopted children from Russia who she adopted at 2 and 4 years.

I can't remember if you are considering Russia or Ukraine. I think they have a Ukraine program currently, but not Russia. They just happen to do more Guatemala placements than other countries. So, I honestly don't know how their programs in other countries compare to other agencies. They are a smaller agency, which I love. I love a lot of other things about them too! :)

I wouldn't recommend ours...we had problems. But I don't want to post their name here. But I have heard great things about Nathansons! :) I have recently met the director of NewLife Christian Adoptions & would use them! She was very nice. http://www.newlifechristianadoptions.org
