Hi Julie,

Northwest Adoptive Families Association is having an adoption options class this weekend in Portland. I pm'd you the details and contact info. I haven't been, but it looks like a relatively inexpensive way to get lots of information on adoption in this area.

Thanks for the info! My dad is still in the hospital in Tacoma after his heart surgery, so I'm likely heading up there this weekend. Beyond that, my husband is still in the "thinking about it" stage so he's not even ready to get more info. He doesn't even like me reading the adoption journals because I get so excited about them. We are probably a few years away from adopting anyway. But I thank you so much for thinking about me!! :)

Sorry to hear about your Dad. We thought about it for probably at least a good year before taking any action, and thankfully (for me), DH was way on board before I was.
