This couple is using my team-she has posted on these boards before and is a CD'er "attachement parent" and doula...they are with a special group that is exactly seeking special needs children in Ukraine. The mom's heart is huge and I have watched her for months live and breath this adoption and wishes of bringing home a child that might not get a home. She sought a "limb difference" and it appears their ride is not a smooth one...I so hope they find the child that is meant for them and their family...

I heard that Penny accepted a referal for a little girl about 2 years old with they think CP (cerebral Palsy)...she did seek special needs and this was her third referral. Which blows my mind that she had to see a child return to the NAC see a child return to the NAC etc... 3 times. Each trip to see achild averages about 12 hours one way on a train during the night. I would have assumed there would have bee enough special needs to select from but I guess it is the information that the NAC has on these children that is not correct.
Anyway got this post in my personal account and hope she updates soon...

Thanks for posting this journal. I also read the journals (and the boards) instead of working! I work at home, so I don't have to avoid a boss, but I am avoiding working!
How are things going with your journey? I was following your posts about the horrendous FedEx debacle and I know your dossier got to the translator. Anything new since then?
