Friend wants to adopt from El Salvador

She was adopted as a baby from El Salvador and now wants to adopt from there as well. She has one child currently, a boy who is amonth older than my DD.

Knowing that there is such a wonderful group of experienced mommies here, I was wondering if you could offer any time frames and advice to her as she starts her journey.

I know this is a late but I hope your friend has been finding some helpful information from some where. Because of adoption rules in El Salvador, very few children are actually adopted out of the country into the USA these days. 16 in fiscal year 2004
