It hasn't been that long. I am just whining. ;)
We were fingerprinted in the Charlotte office in the beginning of September. DH called to check on our progress and was told that we are in review and should receive something within the next 2 weeks.

We just had our home study visit on Friday - the girl that did it said she will have it done by the end of the next week and sent to Korea. The hopes are that any home studies already in Korea when the changes take effect in January will not be subject to the new guidelines etc - so hopefully we'll have a referral sometime in the summer of '07.

Holy moly that is quick!! We finished our homestudy in October and the worker didn't have it done until April. Granted she fell and broke her knee during that time, but we waited forever.
But, if we had been done sooner, we would not have found Kenley and I truly believe he is meant to be our son.
Good luck!!
Yes it was fast - fortunately our agency was willing to accept our prior homestudy for some basic info since it was less than 2 years old - and charge us a reduced rate for this one - since nothing has really changed in our lives (other than adopting Zach). Also - the girl doing our homestudy this time is a pro and really seems efficient as heck. :)
