    Default Shopping List Help

    Hello Ladies,
I just brought Toddler 411 today for my husband. We're in the process of adopting two or three little boys from foster care ranging in ages 1.5-3. We're very excited to finally become parents. Can anyone give me some advice on what I can start buying now to prepare the nursery? I've already started looking at some books to buy, but I want our boys to be multilingual so I'm looking for books in other languages as well.

    Default RE: Shopping List Help

are you looking for ideas for a playroom or for the room they will be sleeping in?

    as for sleeping room....
the older one will probably be fine in a twin bed - I wouldn't bother with a toddler bed. Let him pick out the sheets -
Ikea sells inexpensive cribs - and you can find some at walmart and target too.

a changing table might be helpful with those ages and being in diapers.

books on tape/cd in multiple languages are good. DS 3 years loves to listen to stories in different languages (and I dont' speak any).

if you are looking for toys, I'd suggest a set of wooden blocks and a duplo set. a variety of soft balls would be fun too.

    good luck!
