    Default Transition to 1 nap

    Dear all,
My son is 14 months old now. I know that it is about the age that a toddler skip the morning nap. I am just wondering how does the transition happened. He used to sleep very regularly for 1 - 1.5 hour for morning nap (9:30am) and 1-1.5 hour for afternoon nap (2pm). But lately, he would sleep at around 10:30am till 12pm and the afternoon nap is only 40 mins.
Should I just maintain 2 naps or should I consolidate it. Thanks.

Default RE: Transition to 1 nap

I found the book Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Dr. Weintraub to be very helpful. He covers sleep/napping from newborn through adolescence and addresses multiple issues (moving, birth of sibbling, time change, time zone change, sleep walking, etc.)

    Hope this helps!
