Default Happiest Baby on the Block

We've had a couple of recommendations for the book "The Happies Baby on the Block" by Dr. Karp. I see that is comes in book form or on DVD. Does the DVD have the same information as the book? Does anyone recommend one over the other? It seems like my husband and I are more likely to watch a DVD before the baby arrives (5 weeks) than both read a book, but I don't want to miss anything.

    TIA,

    Jen

I first watched the DVD and found it really helpful. It is like a detailed overview of the book. We watched it before our dd was born. THen after she was born and some of the tricks were not working, I read the book. The book has a lot of little tings that are not in the DVD. Bottom line...I would get both.
