Default DD won't sleep through the night anymore at 14 mos.--help!

Our 14 month old DD used to sleep through the night and if she woke up, was comforted with a quick rocking from me and a pacifier. Now she's started waking up crying hard--she will CIO and fall back to sleep IF she can find her pacifier. If she's thrown it out of the crib and we have to go in to get it for her, she's up for hours. Is it safe to use a clip on for the pacifier during the night? Any other ideas?

    We are exhausted!
    Thanks for listening,

Crib tent. It has mesh sides, and a mesh top. Pacifiers can't escape (we felt so smug when we put DS1 to bed in his tent for the first time!!). Also, try putting more than one paci in there for her so that she can find it quicker.
