Default normal digestion sounds for newborn?

My dd is 11 days old. She is exclusively breastfed (using a nipple shield).

An hour + after eating, she makes the most tortured noises for almost 30 minutes before a bowel movement. Not just "thinking real hard", but grimaces, groans, grunts, cries, flails etc.

Is this normal digestion or more?

    It's normal and fine.

I asked my dr. about this. They said it was normal. When my dds were teeny they were in our room, and this was one of the reasons we moved them to their room. I couldn't sleep at all w/all the noises and it would always freak me out. I remember one time saying to the dr. that they sound like elephants.

YES! We had to move the guys into their room at 4wks b/c I couldn't sleep with all the post-eating noise. DS2 still makes the most awful faces prior to a bm.
