I would never have thought of this, but DS had a blast "washing dishes" outside at Grandma's house. She filled a toy tub with dish drainer on the side with water and toy plates, cups, etc. She squirted a little dishwashing liquid in and gave DS the hose (with a nozzle that you twist to spray rather than squeeze). He loved using the hose to make bubbles initially and then to rinse off all the dishes. He seriously played this for an hour and a half.

Now I'm trying to find something comparable. If anyone sees a good tub/dishdrainer, please let me know.

Colin would love that, I'm sure! I'll keep my eyes open.

But mostly I wanted to tell you how CUTE your new avatar is! My jaw dropped when I saw it the first time. He looks SO grown up!

Thanks. :) He looks so grown up because I hadn't updated my avatar for months. LOL But, my baby is gone and I have a little boy now - no question about it. I can't believe that he'll be 2 in less than 2 months.
