Default RE: Does your toddler enjoy (and pay attention to) storytime?

I've only been to our library a few times and DD didn't like story time there, I think it was a bit overwhelming as there were so many kids there. She wants to read all day at home so I might try again. She does listen at playgroup to the story but not like she does when we read at home. I'd say give it a try, if it doesn't work out you haven't lost anything. It looks wonderful.

DS will be 3 in August and we regularly go to storytime. He is very well behaved at storytime, but wants the librarian to only read stories. He's a literalist, I guess. He doesn't participate in the singing or dancing that happen too. He just mentions that he wants to hear more books.

I'd try it and see how it goes.
