    Default Curtain valence pattern?

Does anyone know where I can find a simple valence pattern? I'm clueless when it comes to sewing, but hubby can sew pretty well. He likes to figure things out on his own, but I like to have him at least pretend he's looked at a pattern first. ;)

    Thanks!

If you just want a plain straight valance it's real easy with no pattern.Measure window and cut fabric 1 1/2-2 times the wide of window.(depend how gathered you want it)Then decide how long you want it and add 6 inches then cut.Sew side seams. Then fold fabric over at top about 4 inches. To make rod pocket.Sew a line of stitching 1 1/2 from top edge and another along the fabric edge..Fold over bottom hem and sew.If you look at a ready made it can give you a better idea then my post.HTH

I got a really cute one from McCalls. I don't remember the number but it was fairly easy. Go and look through the pattern books. They have lots of them in the childrens section of the books.
