    Default A6 envelopes

I'm looking for some A6 envelopes to mail out 4x6 pics of DS to about 150 friends. My local office and craft stores don't have them. I've seen them online at places like envelopemall and apec. Any suggestions/recs for places to get this size envelope?

    Thanks!

You could buy the sets of blank cards and envelopes (I think 5x7 is a common size) from a craft store like Michael's and JoAnn's. I've gotten a pack of 50 for $5 or so using a coupon or when they're on sale. You could stick the pictures inside the card for safekeeping and scribble a note or just leave it blank.

Although not the exact size, it might be easier than ordering online.

I use this place for envelopes.

I've ordered A6 translucent envelopes for birth announcements and A6 colored envelopes for birthday invites and thank you photos and I've been happy with their price and service. (I've found colored A6 envelopes locally and they were much pricier.)

Hi Nupe, A6's are hard to find in office supply stores. I found them at an art store. I also found really nice colorful, vellum ones in different colors. They are pricey though...40-80 cents.

    hows the website coming?

They do have some on ebay, but most of them are ebay listings from Europe. Here is a listing for 50 blue ones.

You might want to consider that non-standard envelopes might be more expensive to mail....just a thought!

Here's another source, although online, for A6 envelopes: http://www.paperandmore.com/cat-enve...ouncement.html
They seem affordable enough too. They come in other colors if you go to the top of the page & click on the envelopes link.

I get all my paper and envelopes at the Paperzone locally and they have really good prices. They do have a online site.

Thanks for your recommendations. The least expensive online order was going to run me about $30 for 200 A6 envelopes (I was leaning toward acid free parchment Fraser Magna Carta), once I included shipping. I think the Michael's idea (using the 5x7 or so envelopes that come in the card set) is great if they are on sale for 50% off--I use those for rubber stamping card projects anyway. That way I get a pack of baronial style envelopes for 50 for $5--and not as boring as using office envelopes (#10). I'll have to check out the web sites you all have recommended. Thank you!
