Default Show me your fav. homemade paper stuff. A bit long, but fun...

Ok ladies. This can be a sort of "brag/get some ideas to get your creative juices going" post. I LOVE seeing other handmade cards, scrapbook pages, stationary, etc. Maybe it will motivate me to manage my time better b/w school and home so I can be crafty to relieve stress.

So of you have time please share with us.

I'll start... here is my Poopers birthday invitation. (I know there are some copyright issues, but it was only for my family. Not for profit.)

I used a dark blue cardstock, bubble paper, vellum, and 2 blue eyelets. I used as spray adhesive to get the bubble paper to lay nicely on the cardstock. Finished size was perfect to fit in the 5 3/4 by 8 3/4 size greeting card envelopes that you get at office supply places. I even went to the post office and got the tropical fish stamps. :P

I hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed the crafty part!

Wow! That a a fabulous card. I love the turtle, hehe.

Okay, I will share some of my recent scrapbook LOs. I just started scrapbooking a few months ago, but I am terribly addicted!

Here is one I did mostly using supplies from a monthly kit. I was very intimated by the BRIGHT paper, but I actually like the results.

Here is one I did of DD and myself together. It's a bit hard to see,
but we are actually sitting on a rock in the middle of a river. That being said the title is a sort of play on words...

Here is a two page LO I did a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for letting me share. I can't wait to see what everyone else shares.

That is so cute! I wish I was crafty with paper. When I have tried, everything turns out awful. I already bought package invites for DD's birthday.

Thanks! It is my creative outlet so I spend a lot of time (or did until my belly makes it very uncomfortable to sit and make these now) picking out just the right stamps and colors, etc. :) I have also found that people appreciate a homemade card so much more than one you get at Target--it is part of the present that way. (Not to say there is ANYTHING wrong with buying cards, b/c I still do that a lot!)

If you really do want to get into stamping, might I suggest Stampin' Up!? :) (See my post in the Micheals thread)

I loved your Nemo card. Is the design from the computer or did you find stickers or something? The bubbles were too cute!

I tend to stick w/ computer stuff since I can't get motivated to "paper" scrapbook..however, I used to have a HUGE collection of stamps - i have no idea where they are now.

Here's something I'm learning in Photoshop Elements and plan to lay out for Christmas. I still have more learning to do so that the pics are seamless w/ each other, but it's a start!
