Picture frame ornaments

I want to make ornaments with DS's picture and a personalized message for my family, who we live 3000 miles away from. I originally thought we'd get silver ornaments and engrave them, but haven't found any that I like.

Does anyone have suggestions for something I can easily find and personalize myself, or that I can make from scratch?
