Default Ideas for putting a name on a Christmas stocking?

DH and I have personalized knit Christmas stockings, but we can't get one for Jake (and the next baby) that matches. At least for the time being, we bought some cute $10 stockings at Target that are felt (one blue and one red), with white felt snowflakes appliqued on them. The top of the stocking has the cotton that they are lined with that is sewn/folded over the top for about 6 inches or so. That would be room to put Jacob's name up there if we wanted to. I figured I could use a template (like a scrapbooking one I have here) to cut out coordinating felt letters and glue them on. Any other ideas for a cute/easy way to put his name up there?

    Andrea,

The felt letters sound really cute! I'd probably go that route, but you could also stitch his name (if you did pretty big stitches it would be easy) or use glue and cording/ribbon. I'm sure whatever you do will be cute. Good luck!
