Default Oversized Knobs for Chest of Drawers

Several of the local boutiques have oversized knobs for their furniture that are handpainted. I would love to do some myself for our baby's room. They are wooden, about 3 1/2" - 4" in diameter and are flat on the front. Does anyone know where I could locate some? I have looked at Home Depot, Lowe's and some local hardware stores, but I can't find any.

    Thanks for your help!

You could check at wood working stores? I like this little shop www.cherrytreetoys.com We go to the actual store in ohio but their online prices are really cheap to. I found some 4 in wheels that you could maybe modidfy to use here http://www.cherrytreetoys.com/store/...6&pagenumber=1

I think I saw knobs in sizes up to 2 inches or if you call they are really nice and helpful. Do you have a link to ones like you are trying to duplicate? I'd like to see them. Let us know what you end up doing, I'd love to see how yours turn out

Thanks for the suggestion. It prompted me to think a little further, and I think I can have my husband make them using standard knobs and attaching a larger round piece for the front. That being said, if anyone knows of a pre-fabricated knob, I would still rather do that. :)

Here is a link to their website: http://www.themagicmoon.com/dressers.html#dressers. I was wanting to do some of the gingham checked knobs, but the Omaha, Cason and Naples dressers are more representative of the size I am wanting. I would just buy them there, but they don't have the colors that I am using in my room.
