Default Can you dye an Ultimate Crib Sheet?

I am wanting to dye an Ultimate Crib Sheet so it will match my bedding. Has anyone ever tried that? If not, has anyone seen a similar product in other colors?

I never would have thought of dying one of those lol!! To be honest, if they came in any color other than white, it would be nice... oh the things that can end up in a crib in the middle of the night :) I highly recommend getting one even if it doesn't exactly match, it saved me many times when we've had "accidents"

If you do get it dyed, please share how. I know someone who wants to do this now too since we've seen your idea :)

I may get some RIT dye and try it on one of my old ones. I will let you know how it turns out. Now I just need to find a way to add a few more hours to my day so I can get it done... :)

I don't have the Ultimate Crib Sheet myself, but I have dyed other crib bedding- multiple times. I use Rit dye in the washing machine- usually works great. It was about $2.50 for the dye- much cheaper than buying all new sheets. I was able to dye two crib sheets, a changing pad cover and a small blanket in one load.
I don't know much about the Ultimate Crib Sheet, but I think it might have multiple layers? Anyway, I would just read the directions on the dye and it should work. What material is it? I've had the best luck with 100% cotton.
    Hope that helps!

I believe it is cotton, but it is backed with a waterproof material that is synthetic. That's the only part I am not sure about. I don't mind if the synthetic part does not take the dye since it is not seen, but I don't know if it will cause the top layer to come out uneven.

FWIW, I saw colored Ultimate Crib Sheets on the Target website. They are solid pastels with coordinating striped trim. You could easily cover the trim with fabric to match your bedding, or just ignore it if it coordinates!
