    Default Magnetic blackboard paint?

I have ordered a Battat easel for DS and it seems as if neither side (blacboard or white board) is magnetic. It won't ship until late January, but I am considering re-painting the blackboard side before we assemble it to make it magentic. Does anyone have experience with using magnetic blackboard paint on a blackboard surface? Is there such a thing as magnetic blackboard paint or are they two different products entirely? Any tips?

    TIA!

AFAIK, you need to use two different products - first the magnetic paint and then the chalkboard paint. FWIW, I like the roll-on chalkboard paint much better than the spray paint.

This site gives you instructions - I haven't tried it myself, but it looks easy enough...
