Anyone ever make a rug for a baby or child's room?

Yes, a long, long time ago I crocheted a rug from strips of fabric. It would have made a good baby rug. You could also knit one up - they go fast, but making the fabric into strips takes some time.

For my daughter's "baby" room I made a braided rag rug. It was my first attempt and a bit "bumpy" but it matched the room perfectly!
