    Default Chalk placemat help!!

Okay, I procrastinated forever and now DS's party is Friday and I'm not done with these! I have them cut out and glued. I started to sew tonight (the elastic) and broke 2 needles. I'm out. Questions:

    1. What kind of needle do I need? Size, tip? I am not a big sewer and just have no clue.

    2. How big of an eraser did you use? I bought cheap wash clothes so I wouldn't have to sew them, but I'm thinking they're way too big.

I'm hitting a store in the morning and will put these together tomorrow night, I hope. Still have to do food and cupcakes, too. Why, oh why did I wait so long??

Use a purple or blue needle. If you read the back of the packages it will tell you if it's for thicker fabrics or not.

eraser.. I made my own out of Terry Cloth. I cut a 3x4 inch terry cloth rectangle and then folded in half and sewed sides together. That was the eraser.

Oh it's a lot of work for one night. Best wishes.
