Caleb is over 13 months old now and I've been pumping all along to supply him with milk for the 3 days I work. After his birthday my supply has steadily gone down when I pump - I think I can't let down to the pump for some reason - and I'm only getting about 6-8 oz/day, when I had been getting closer to 16-18oz in 3 sessions. I am ready to give up pumping but not to give up BFing. On the 4 days we're together he still nurses at least 4-5 times per day, depending on his mood, etc. IF I quit pumping, will I still be able to nurse him as he pleases like this, or will my body regulate and stop making milk during the day? If I need to continue to pump in order to keep a supply going I will do it, but it seems so futile given how little I get these days (and I've been getting milk blisters from the pump for some reason).

Thanks for any words of wisdom!
