Default Anybody have a problem with an 11 month old who will not or can not eat any solid foods.

eat any thing but baby food. He does not eat so much as a cheerio.
He might suck on a tiny little piece of a star cracker but does not really chew.He gags on the chunkier baby foods so he is still eating stage one.

I think it's very common for babies not to like the chunkier baby food. I think it's probably confusing to get a bite of smooth and then a bite with a big chunk in it. As for finger foods, my DS did eat a few cheerios by the time he was a year old, but that was about it. He still ate primarily stage one baby food. My ped was not at all concerned. He said he has seen 2-year-olds still eating jarred food. I just kept offering more finger foods, and by a few months after his birthday, DS had given up jarred food on his own.
