Default [High] chair help for grandparents' house

I can't believe it's actually time to "furnish" my parents' home for when we visit with DS. My mom wants to be sure that DS has "somewhere to sit" - both at the table and otherwise - even though he can't yet support himself! She is sure she has seen a high chair that essentially functions as such and then detaches, I guess, to become a booster seat. Any thoughts?? If not, any suggestions for an alternative?

Thanks for your patience as I also ask my next question: is there some sort of chair for a 7 mo who cannot yet sit by himself?

    TIA,

    Stephanie

ETA: Sorry, I just realized this is the wrong forum. I'll try again Around the House!

Any highchair with a recline will do just fine. I don't know about a highchair that converts to a booster but it sounds familiar. I would say to get a feeding seat that you can strap to a regular kitchen chair like a FB Healthy Care Booster or a 4 in 1 chair frmo First Years.

The Bumble seat gets high praise as a general around the house seat for a not yet sitting entirely unsupported infant!

My parents bought the Healthy Care Booster Seat by Fisher-Price and it worked very well.
