Are there any ORGANIC fruit and veggie puffs out there?
It seems like all of DD's friends are eating fruit and veggie puffs. I haven't even started DD on finger foods yet but she does have the pincher grasp and likes feeding herself with her spoon with help of course!
She's almost 8 months.
Can anyone suggest anything organic like the fruit and veggie puffs?

Is Veggie Booty organic?
We avoided it until a year because of corn and wheat, but it's a great snack.

Unfortunately, only partially organic.
However, considering all the preservatives and stuff that are in so many of these things, I feel better that I can pronounce and have seen all of the ingredients in the "Booty" puffs.
Ingredient list for Veggie Booty: Corn Meal, Rice, Organic Soy Flour, Canola and/or Sunflower Oil, Spinach, Kale, Cabbage, Carrot, Broccoli, Parsley, and Sea Salt.
Whole Foods has a cheese puff that's organic, but no fruit or veggie ones!

Are veggie booty and pirate booty made by the same company? Are they only available at the stores at Trader Joe's?

Yes, they're both made by Robert's American Gourmet. www.robscape.com
Our Trader Joe's doesn't carry Veggie Booty anymore. I asked about it and they said it wasn't selling well enough. It is actually getting harder to find around here. I am pretty sure that Wild Oats still has it, but I don't know if you have one of those.
I may actually ask dh to order a case for us from the website. Lane loves it that much!!!

Okay, I just went ahead and ordered a case of Veggie and Pirate Booty because we don't have a Wild Oats, and our TJ's often doesn't carry things that don't sell well. If Kaya really hates it, I'll bring it with me to the retreat for anyone who's DC really loves it. But from the description, it sounds like she'll like them. :)
Thanks for the website, Mary.

Our Publix (non-organic grocery store chain in southeast) carries Veggie Booty.

Have you looked at www.justtomatoes.com? They sell dryed fruits and veggies. DS has been eating them for quite a while ( I cant rememeber but he was less than a year). They have an organic line you may want to check out.

Publix is an amazing grocery store chain! I've been there (Dunedin, FL) and am always amazed by the selection and service. Very nice place.
